Trees in the Light

Sometimes less is more and this simple composition was a very good photographic opportunity as I drove back from Penmon Point lighthouse in Anglesey.
As I headed down the coast road in the midst of a heavy rain shower, the sun rising out over the sea suddenly broke through and illuminated the landscape. The Gods of Photography were on my side and a lovely little trio of trees was lit up beautifully against the dark storm clouds behind them.
